A basic studio page is free and stays free. The Studio Plan is 9 dollars a month and adds your open studio calendar, your exact address and map, unlimited works, all your links, a long statement and cv, visitor statistics, and a higher position in the browse results.
No. A sale happens between you and the collector. We are not part of the transaction and we never see the money. You keep one hundred percent.
Any artist, anywhere. There is no selection round and no portfolio review. The curation is in how the work is presented, not in who gets in.
Eight. The Studio Plan removes the limit.
No. A free page is simply a page. Open studio days are part of the Studio Plan and you decide which dates, if any.
Nothing is deleted. Your open studio dates and any works above the free limit of eight move to unpublished inside your own account. Your exact address, extra links, long statement and cv disappear from the public page but stay saved. Everything comes back the moment you resubscribe.
No. The platform is open worldwide and any artist can make a page today. Our marketing, our search work and the HEYATELIER Weekends start in New York, so that is where the collector traffic builds up first. Other cities will follow.
Your studio page is its own page in Google, not a card buried in a list. On top of that we build city and neighborhood pages that link through to you, and we write about the studios in your area.
Not for now. The site brings you the visitor and the conversation. How you handle price, payment and delivery is between you and the buyer.
How a studio visit works and what to expect when you get there.
No. Browsing studios, saving them and messaging an artist are free, and they stay free. Only artists pay, and only if they want the extras.

Look at the studio page. Artists on the Studio Plan show their open days and their address. If there is no calendar, send a message and ask. Most artists are happy to be asked.
A conversation, not a sales pitch. You look at work, you ask what you want to ask, and you leave. Buying something is allowed but never expected, and nobody keeps score.
Directly from the artist. Price, payment and delivery are arranged between the two of you. We take no cut and we never handle the money.
Usually, because there is no gallery margin on top of the price. But the artist sets the price, not us, and a fair price is still a real price.
A group of studios in one city opens on the same weekend, so you can walk from one to the next in a single afternoon. The first edition is in New York. Join the waiting list and you will get the date before it goes public.
Yes. Ask them. A commission is an arrangement between you and the artist.
Artists manage their own pages, so some are more current than others. Send a message and ask what is still available.
