HEYATELIER is a new, independent platform that makes discovering and buying art directly from the maker simple and accessible. We remove two major barriers: many people think art is always expensive, and artists are often hard to find. By making studios visible and enabling direct contact, we show that buying art from the artist can be personal, affordable, and enjoyable.

We are artists ourselves and know this reality firsthand. Exhibitions require enormous preparation, gallery commissions can take up to half of the sale price, and packing and shipping take time and energy. On top of that, when selling through a gallery you rarely know who buys your work, while that connection with the buyer is often the most meaningful part. That is why we believe selling directly from the studio is the best option for many makers: you keep control, your margin, and the relationship.

Our goal

For visitors, HEYATELIER feels like an open invitation. They discover your work in the place where it is created, ask questions, hear the stories behind the pieces, and experience the energy of the making process. They can save studios, create their own art route, and follow it directly in Google Maps. This turns a day of studio visits into an accessible and inspiring experience, and increases the chance that people buy directly from you instead of from large chains.

We want to build a place where both established and lesser-known makers can thrive side by side. Established artists often already have a network and higher price points through galleries, while emerging or more hidden makers too often remain behind closed doors. We think that is a shame. There is so much talent that deserves to be seen. HEYATELIER keeps things approachable: easy to find, easy to visit, and built around direct contact between maker and art lover.

Transparency is at the core. You decide what you show and at what price, without intermediaries or hidden costs. Visitors contact you directly, allowing you to build a genuine connection with your audience and stay fully in control of how you present and sell your work.

Let’s be honest: HEYATELIER is new, and the number of sign-ups is still modest. As soon as a solid selection of studios is in place, we will fully invest in visibility through targeted advertising, one-on-one interviews, and social media to grow the platform and bring visitors to your studio.
